The RTK system uses advanced GPS technology to achieve high-precision navigation and mowing.

There are 2 parts to the RTK system.

The RTK base station

The receiver on the mower

The RTK base station continuously receives GPS signals to determine its exact position.

It calculates correction data based on any discrepancies between its known fixed location and the GPS data it receives.

It then transmits this correction data to the mower in real-time.

The mower receives GPS signals and also the correction data from the RTK station.

Using the differential data, the rover can correct its position with centimeter-level accuracy.

RTK systems provide consistent precision accuracy regardless of environmental conditions like signal errors or atmospheric interference, which can affect standard GPS systems.

This consistent precision accuracy allows for complex path planning and highly improves efficiency.

RTK eliminates physical boundary wires and replaces them with GPS mapped boundaries.

In summary, an RTK system leverages high-precision GPS technology to provide accurate and efficient lawn mowing, resulting in a well-maintained lawn with minimal user intervention.
