My Favorite String Trimmer Recommendations:

I recommend getting a battery set to match you needs. One on the charger and the other in the tool. This will cover most projects. If you have a huge property with hrs of use planned consider a large capacity battery set. Keep in mind they get heavy as the capacity increases. Only get what you need plus a little extra just in case. I own a 7.5 - 5.0 - 2.5. These seem to cover all the bases here at my house.

  • EGO Carbon Fiber String Trimmer This is by far the best home owner version on the market. Its pro level quality. I have been a customer of EGO for years and do not have anything bad to say about the quality of the tools or the quality of the results. You can’t go wrong here.

  • Replacement Cutting Line I use .95 twisted to cut my turf grass and weeds. A great mix of precision cutting and toughness.

  • Battery Larger Capacity 7.5 This is a large heavy battery that lasts a very long time. More than enough for most situations. A great second battery.

  • Battery Medium Capacity 5.0  This is a great middle size battery with good life. It works well and lasts a lot longer than you would thing. Will work well for most small-medium sided string trimming jobs.

  • Battery Small Capacity 2.5 This is a smaller batter that sometimes comes with the tool. It is ok as a back up but will not make it through a large job without recharging. It is light which is great but you will need a few of them if you want to keep the tool lightweight and go with short duration use.

  • Build your Own Multi Tool Combo Best way to go. Pick what you want and do not get what you don’t need.

  • EGO Multi Tool This is a fantastic tool for those that want a multi tool product that is great quality. Swap out the tool ends to meet your needs. I have the stick edger, Chain saw. These have eliminated the need for gas tools. I like them all.

    • Chain Pole Saw Really cool add on for your yard work. Carbon Fiber. Works amazing.

    • String Trimmer Great high quality carbon fiber string trimmer.

    • Stick Edger Ultra high quality carbon fiber stick edger. Gets crisp lines down any sidewalk or driveway. I love it.

  • EGO Leaf Blower This is my longest owned tool from EGO. A true staple in the detailing world for drying cars. Extremely powerful and extremely well built. This is a must have for car detailing and lawn care. Comes with a 5.0 battery.

  • Safety Gear
