Cooking the perfect steak carnivore-style typically involves keeping it simple and focusing on the natural flavors of the meat. Here's my air fryer method for preparing a carnivore-style steak in less than of 30 mins.

Dreo Chefmaker (30% off till 2/14) DIRECT FROM MANUFACTURER or Amazon A fully automated air fryer that cooks a perfect reverse sear steak. This cook method cooks the meat at a low temperature to achieve the desired doneness and than finishes the cook with a high temp broil style sear all while making sure the internal temp finishes at the desired donneness. This machine has worked great and cooks a variety of meats. It is however a home cook counter top machine that has a very reasonable lifespan. I plan to get at least 2 years of daily use. Dishwasher safe for easy clean up. I bought this Air Fryer on the kickstarter program and customer service has been excellent for the few small issues I had. The unit has had multiple improvements through software updates and has been working incredibly well. Still looks and operates like new.

Ninja dual zone Amazon A great dual zone air fryer that I use daily for my chicken wings. Works great for steak also. Not automated like the Dreo.

Meat Thermometer Amazon A must have to get proper temperature readings on your steak. This will be the key to mastering the correct finish.

Salt Amazon A good quality salt is a must. I use a lot of salt. It is a required element, I don’t use many seasoning so I want great quality.

Pepper Amazon Pepper is an luxury add on that is completely up to you. If you believe you might have a sensitivity to oxalates you can skip this. I love it.

White Pepper Amazon White pepper is a milder version that is less likely to cause issues if you have a sensitivity.

Ingredients: Steak of your choice (Ribeye, New York Strip, or any fatty cut) Salt (preferably sea salt or Himalayan salt) Pepper (Course Grind)

Instructions: Choose a Fatty Cut: Opt for a fatty cut of steak, as carnivore-style eating emphasizes higher fat intake. Ribeye steaks and fatty New York Strips are an excellent choice due to their marbling.

Season Simply: Sprinkle a generous amount of salt on both sides of the steak. Keep it simple; the focus is on enhancing the natural flavors of the meat.

Cooking using the Dreo Air Fryer: Chef Mode - Choose steak type- Choose cook level - Start Machine performs a reverse sear method automatically.

Cooking Using traditional Air Fryer with meat thermometer: Cook at 275 until internal temp is 25-30 below desired finished temp. Next cook on max temp flipping mid sear until desired internal temp is reached. (Manual Reverse Sear Method) Measure temp often and be careful not to over cook the meat. There is a learning curve with your tools and process before it will be easy. Be patient. See Chart Below for cook temps.

Rest the Steak: Once the steak reaches your desired doneness, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for a few minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a juicier steak.

Serve and Enjoy: Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately.

You can add more salt to taste if desired. Remember, carnivore-style cooking is all about simplicity and letting the natural flavors of the meat shine.
