Getting rid of the dreaded OEM long wand and poor quality spray gun is the single largest upgrade to your pressure washer that you can make. There are several things that make a great pressure washer gun. Great build quality, small form factor, high quality live swivel, high quality quick disconnect for the tips, easy pull trigger and of course it has to look nice too. There are plenty of options out there varying in quality and cosmetics. Most pressure washer guns fall short in one area or another. I have found these three units to be the best available in these 3 specific price categories. The compromises made to reach the price point are transparent and an easy choice can be made based on your budget and needs. You always get what you pay for with tools. There is rarely the time when the best tool is cheaper.

Top of the line pro grade short gun There are no compromises with this gun. The best live swivel on the market makes this pressure washer gun fatigue free and feels exceptional in the hand. Ultra high quality quick disconnect makes for effortless connection of tips and the foam cannon. Easy pull trigger and great cosmetics. User experience is a 10/10. I have used this for several years as my full time short gun and it has worked flawlessly. If you have the money I highly recommend this pressure washer gun. Do it and don’t look back. This is the ultimate pressure washer gun for a pro detailer or enthusiast that demands the best tools.
Mid level pro grade short gun This is a long standing industry standard for pressure washer guns. Great quality and cosmetics too. You do start to see a slight drop in fit and finish from the top of the line model above. Quick disconnect is a little less precision and live swivel more exposed. The live swivel also is less precision and free. This is still very acceptable for this price point and being willing to spend more money is the only way to fix it. This is a great gun for the pro detailer or enthusiast on a budget.
Entry level pro grade short gun A great gun for the money is my best description of this pressure washer short gun. It has all the requirements for a pro level gun. Where it falls short is in the details. Longer exposed live swivel, brass quick disconnect and a lighter in hand feeling build quality. Do not let this stop you from this upgrade. This is perfect for the pro detailer or enthusiast on a tight budget. If cosmetics is not a worry to you and money is tight this short gun is going to make you really happy. Its a fantastic upgrade. Don’t expect it to be a good as the above mentioned guns and spray away. I have used this quite a bit in my testing and have had no issue. I have also received a lot of real world detailer feedback with all positive reviews as well.
